What happened to the six carriers that attacked Pearl Harbor?
There were six Japanese aircraft carriers employed in attacking Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. They were the Akagi (flagship), Kaga, Hiryu, Soryu, Zuikaku and Shokaku. The first four were sunk at Midway, just seven months later. Zuikaku and Shokaku lasted much longer, but were eventually sunk, one by a submarine.Dec 30, 2021
